I was born in Provence, southeast of France, in a place where stories grow like lavender under the sky. In kindergarten, the teacher taught my friends and me a superpower: story-telling. Thus, our class of tiny but very imaginative kids wrote and drew a comic strip. So guess what? We got a distinction in a contest for children organized by Angoulême International Comics Festival, the third biggest comics festival in the world! Since then, dreaming big has always been such a normal thing for me.
After graduating in Toulouse, southwest of France, I met my talented director-husband Sean Delecroix, with whom I started writing screenplays… and after months spent reading and writing, locked in an office… the magic happened! Since my debut picture book, in September 2013, I work on a very regular basis with France’s top publishers. I have written and translated more than 200 books for all ages, from pre-school through middle grade. And I plan to write a lot more!
